IndustryApps Platform

We are proud to partner with IndustryApps, a leading platform designed to facilitate scalable and agile digitalization for SMEs. This technology is the glue that sticks business alignment and data together. It provides the means to collect, process, and analyze data, leading to actionable insights, driving business strategies, and fostering innovation.

The IndustryApps proprietary platform connects IT/OT data sources, facilitates communication between sources, and promotes interoperability and functionality across a company's assets, systems, software, and processes. It is made made up of three key modules:

Connectivity

The IndustryApps platform makes it easy to connect to any data source, including machines, systems, and software. With a variety of connectors, both IT and OT data sources can easily be integrated. Even older legacy machines can be included, as retrofitting sensors is a simple way to connect and collect data. The unique platform approach of IndustryApps requires each data source only to be connected once, without additional integration efforts between solutions or for future application changes. IndustryApps eliminates the need for time-consuming, repetitive custom integrations, a major risk and cost factor in traditional software deployments.

Industrial Data Ops

The second component of the IndustryApps platform operating system is the data management layer, where Digital Twin technology is used to translate the various unstructured/ non-standardised incoming data streams into a common language based on open Industry 4.0 standards. These evolving standards provide a structured and integrated framework for the description of any kind of software, system, machine, or product. As there are no limitations regarding the data source or a specific business area (e.g., shopfloor), IndustryApps enables a holistic implementation, allowing an end-to-end digital transformation of a business across the vertical and horizontal supply chain.

DataSpace

Once structured and standardised, the data in the customer-controlled, secured DataSpace can now be managed and used via a central control panel. As all data exchanges are with their original sources, the system effectively creates an interconnected "single source of truth" throughout an organisation. Data flows and access permissions can be controlled with detailed authentication and authorization protocols.

Industrial DataOps Consulting

Translation of various unstructured/ non-standardised incoming data streams into a common standards. These standards provide a structured and integrated framework for the description of any kind of software, system, machine, or product.

ISA-95

The ISA-95 standard includes:

1. Activity Model: From physical processes (Level 0) to enterprise management (Level 4).

2. Functions Model: Production, quality, maintenance, and inventory management.

3. Information Model:Data like recipes, orders, history, and quality.

4. Operations Model: Daily production, quality, maintenance, and logistics.

Asset Administration Shell (AAS)

The AAS comprises several submodels that describe all the information and functionalities of a given asset, encompassing its features, characteristics, properties, statuses, parameters, measurement data, and capabilities.

OPC-UA

The OPC UA companion specification for a specific industry vertical market outlines an information model by defining the Types utilized within that market.

ECLASS

ECLASS is the global reference data standard for the classification and precise description of products and services.

Connectivity Consulting

Connectivity ofany existing IT/OT data source, including machines, systems, and software. Even older legacy machines can be included. Connect to PLCs, OPC, MQTT, Relational, Non-relational databases, MES, IoT Gateways.

Green Field

Green Field does not mean Plug-and-Play, Data mapping, protocol conversion and architechting is required.

Custom Integration

Custom integration is particularly required for end-devices like COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) presses or riveters that provide interfaces for PLC logic but not for process parameters or machine status.

Retrofitting

Retrofitting machines that still performs within its production capacity involves adding new features to support Industry 4.0 functionalities

Umati

Provides true “plug and play“ functionality in the field of machinery, relies on OPC UA as the global interoperability standard.
